Hotel Information: The large, meandering, two-level lobby at The Outrigger Reef on the Beach is usually full of vacationing guests in bathing suits or T-shirts. Two restaurants and a bar are popular hangouts for drinks and casual meals most of the day and evening.
Amenity highlights: Guests can enjoy surfing lessons, outrigger canoe rides, scuba diving, and catamaran cruises (surcharges). A complimentary fitness room offers treadmill and step machines, free weights, and weight machines, and there is a day spa (surcharge). On Fridays there are Hawaiian cultural activities including hula. The 858 air-conditioned rooms, in three towers on 18 floors, have 20-inch cable TVs with pay movies and video games. Amenities include complimentary high-speed Internet access, coffeemakers, and compact refrigerators.
Blue carpets and Hawaiian-quilt-motif bedspreads complement wood furniture. Some simple saver rooms and standard rooms have no lanais or views. All other rooms at The Outrigger Reef on the Beach have lanais.
